I originally qualified as a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) in August 1995 and have worked in a variety of mental health settings, including Acute Admissions, Forensic and continuing care. I commenced Specialist Psychotherapy training (incorporating ENB650) in September 2000 at the Sheffield Hallam University and graduated with honours as an Adult Behavioural Psychotherapist. I have eight years specialist experience of developing, implementing and evaluating cognitive and behavioural therapeutic interventions for patients suffering from both mood disorders and the anxiety spectrum disorders, particular experience includes: specific phobias, social phobia, obsessive compulsive disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, panic disorder, impulse control disorders, post traumatic stress disorder, sexual dysfunction, relationship difficulties, eating disorders and mood disorders such as bi-polar disorder and depression.
